how microsoft has impacted my life and how will i bring change to society being a MSA.

Hello friends, I am Sachin malik from Dronacharya College of engineering, Gurgaon.

It’s a tough question that how Microsoft had impacted my life. It’s been 10 years when I first used a computer and so was the relationship of mine with Microsoft was established. The logo of Microsoft was quite fascinating at that age. For me and my friends that logo was not of a company but of a profound joy and excitement that entraps us that time. The symbol of Microsoft was the symbol of computers for us.

I still remember how we use to spend hours and hours on paint. That was the first software I used on pc, and also introduced me and many of other kids to the cyber world. It was considered as the first version of Photoshop.

When I was in the starting of my teen age, then I came to know about the “COMPANY” Microsoft. I was deeply moved by the fact that about 95%+ personnel computers operate on windows. That time imagining a company who is responsible for providing computer access to the common man was quite exciting thing. I was also highly motivated by Mr. Bill gates, as his idea of introducing windows did bought a revolution in the whole world. It was just a small idea in the starting but what happens next is a history.

In my school days, I was once given a project to prepare a presentation on wildlife. That was the time when my father introduced me to the Microsoft office. I was so happy as it was new for me. I was so happy that next day I woke up at 05:00 a.m. morning just to complete the presentation. It took me about 5-6 days to complete that presentation but those 5-6 days were very much special in my life. Till now I remember, What I learnt in those days.

Later on when I entered my graduation, then I came to know about the other things or I should say opportunities of Microsoft. It was my teaching faculty that introduced me the world of Microsoft. I started various webinars organized my Microsoft. Also various other initiatives likes Microsoft virtual academy, dream spark, dev. center etc.
Then one day came to know of Microsoft imagine cup, I thought of participating in it. I along with my two friends submitted our project on innovation category but were not selected. I was disappointed but did not lose my hope and thought of trying next year with much more preparation. There was times when I could not make up but that showed me hoe prepared I was, like I once tried giving Microsoft technology associate exam( mobile app development) but could not passed.

Being as a Microsoft student associate.

Being as a Microsoft associate I would like to convey my friends and fellow students more about the various webinars and courses being organized by Microsoft.

I would also like to organize talks and boot camps to exhibit Microsoft’s determination in helping students develop apps. Being a student, it’s an expensive affair to buy software required for development.  But Microsoft has given me tools like windows 8.1 enterprise Preview, Visual studio 2012 Express edition to learn and develop windows 8.1 apps for phones, tablets, and PCs alike, and all for free of cost and I believe that these things has to be taken to the students of my college so that they can do the same amazing things as well.

Through this, I would also like to share the amazing resources present in the Microsoft Virtual Academy, and the webinars conducted that would help many of them to start with something simple and get advanced on it.
As my friend circle is vast and also I like to interact with new people therefore it is the thing I can perform very easily.

Thanks for giving time and reading it!!!!!
